DocTalk January 27, 2015

One of my favourite times of the week is when the doctors join me in the studio to talk about what is going on in the wild world of medicine.

This week, as usual, we had a list of interesting topics including what was going on in the office.

Of course we are always happy to take calls on the break, 04 423 1010, and SMS to 4001 throughout the show. Want to drop an email?

Want to find out more about the doctors?

Dr Shereen Habib, Well Woman Clinic

Dr Sean Petherbridge Keith Nicholl Medical Centre

Of course we always begin with some notes.

In the office

Chicken Pox

What is a boil? How to treat?

Ingrown hair what can we do about it?

Diet and psoriasis

From Tobacco to Caffeine

Nutrition studies do we trust them

What medication is best for Asthma?

Sleep medications should I be worried about how long I take it?

Are you seeing more hearing issues because of ear buds?

What is sinusitis?

What is pelvic floor rehab therapy?
And here is a look at a bit of the interaction on the SMS line.
