CarTalk January 5th

Who doesn't like to talk about their dream car or that awful car you are driving that you would not wish upon an enemy?

Well, every Monday at 9pm James and the guys from Motoring Middle East sit down and chat about the rolling art on the road today.

And there is a lot of rolling junk also, oh and a few things nobody can understand why they are even in existence.

Here is the podcast of this weeks show.

Here are some of the SMS questions that came into the show that provoked even more conversation.

I drive an X5 (new shape) 35i exclusive. Fantastic interior, covers all my needs and then some (head up display, amazing screen, easy nav, very comfortable, great space for the kids in the back and boot). Regarding your Bentley, I have to admit that the Rolls Royce Ghost is just the ultimate - beats the molzane. The RR I drove had two tone silver blue and the perfection on the inside combined with the best drive of my life. Just incredible attention to detail and perfection. Nothing like the RR in the world.

How does it feel knowing your kids will be completing your Bentley's payments in 20 years? :p

Scirocco R vs. Golf R?

Burmester sound system.  Google

Burmester is the stereo in the Mercedes, found in Porsches first. A stand alone Burmester stereo cost more than a new Cayenne.  -Martin

I drive a corvette fancy options, but once you remember what's  under  the hood you wake up the child inside you...

Whats your take on the new cadillac escalade? I like its straight edgy looks,  but how does it stack against its peers

Also, one main mechanical difference between the Sirocco and Golf R, Sirroco is FWD and Golf is AWD

What do you think of the nrw

It does look old! Specially compared with the Scirocco and how it won many design awards for amazing hothatches!
