Our Chocolates
It is our passion to create the finest chocolates for your pleasure that drives us to create the CHOCOLAT ranges.

We are inspired by our environment and the region's natural ingredients.........the seasons........the weather and - of course - our clients, whose comments and feedback are all-important for us to evolve and continually improve CHOCOLAT!

We place great emphasis on the consistent high quality of our preservative-free chocolates.
The entire process of creating our CHOCOLAT products takes place at our custom-designed, temperature-controlled Ras Al Khaimah factory - ensuring you will be delighted by the only Swiss chocolates to be made in the UAE!

CHOCOLAT CLASSIC LINE

Our Classic Line takes some of the world's renowned chocolate classics and international dessert flavours and recreates them into CHOCOLAT, enlivened by adding contemporary flavours to create a unique product line to awaken the taste-buds.
It is the mastery of our Swiss chocolatiers that balances subtlety and adventure.......

CHOCOLAT TASTE OF ARABIA LINE

Traditional Arabian hospitality - a cornerstone of Middle Eastern culture - inspired the creation of our Taste of Arabia range.
We wanted to demonstrate, through CHOCOLAT, some of the culinary tastes and scents our hosts have offered over the centuries - right up to today - to welcome family, friends and strangers!
Coffee and cardamom.......dates and figs, herbal teas........halwa........rose water..........mint........ they can all be explored in our Taste of Arabia chocolates..............

CHOCOLAT .DOT LINE

A sugar free range - matching the same degree in quality of our existing lines - has been introduced following requests from clients unable to enjoy our earlier CHOCOLAT creations due to dietary regimes.

The .DOT brand name and design came in an enlightened moment - enabling everyone to clearly distinguish these from other chocolates.

OnePure halal beauty products

Layla Mandi joins us to tell the story of how she has gone from being a makeup artist to a cosmetics creator! And she is based in the UAE!

www.onepureonline.com

OnePure is committed to providing an alternative for discerning women who value excellence and having a peace of mind. The results of these unique products are immediate and with continued use are truly impressive. We have ambitious expansion plans for launching more unique products across the beauty sector in the near future including body and hair care ranges ensuring that observing our religion need not be a compromise on quality.

OnePure applies the Sharia compliance to its entire value chain.

OnePure’s creation was the result of Layla Mandi’s focus on providing Muslims the choice whether or not they want to risk using Haram ingredients on their bodies. Providing an alternative of Halal certified products for discerning Muslims who value excellence and having a peace of mind has been the key to OnePure’s worldwide recognition. Following its successful launch of the OnePure Travel Collection on Saudi Airlines, the retail line has been launched with the Famous French Department Store Galaries Lafayette.

Layla Mandi, the CEO and Founder of OnePure is a devotee Muslim convert who cares about beauty and has long believed that the beauty and religion need not be a conflict in our daily lives. Working as a makeup artist in the USA and Canada for over ten years and after scouring the ingredient list of beauty products, Layla found that most skincare lines contain Haram ingredients. Layla believed it was possible to have skin care consisting solely of non-Haram ingredients which inspired her research, collaborating with a chemist and dermatologist in Canada for two years developing and perfecting the skincare range. This also included products that suit Arabic skin types and the extreme weather conditions our skin has to face every day.

What is happening now?

Now on View – From Matisse to Warhol: Works on Paper by Modern Masters

From Matisse to Warhol encompasses many of the most revered artists of the 20th century, including Picasso, Dali and Chagall. Featuring works never before seen by the public, the exhibition draws on the impressive Western section of Dr Farjam’s extensive private art collection. Divided into two sections, the exhibition begins by unfolding a visual narrative on the changing role of paper over the course of the 20th century, when paper came to be considered as a medium capable of producing finished works in their own right. The second section of the exhibition looks at the more traditional role of paper as a preparatory medium, with the rare opportunity to compare preparatory sketches with finished sculptural pieces.

MCI logo

Welcome to MCI in the Middle East

In 2006 MCI in the Middle East started its operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, against the backdrop of the immense growth in the region for destination management (DMC), association management (AMC) and professional congress organization (PCO) opportunities. It was MCI’s eleventh office and the second one outside Europe. Dubai was a natural choice for MCI due to it being the Business Centre of the Middle East. Another attractive feature of the city is its infrastructure, talent pool and easy to do business attitude. The year 2007 saw MCI in the Middle East extending its local reach and making its presence felt in the emirate of Abu Dhabi too vis-a-vis the opening of a new office there.

Since its inception, MCI in the Middle East has helped many of MCI’s existing customers grow in the region and increase their operational footprint by executing their MENA strategies. Moreover, MCI in the Middle East has grown from strength to strength and has successfully cultivated new relationships with some of the most prestigious names in the region. The office has operated high touch programmes and delivered strategies in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and UAE.

2012 with John Major Jenkins

2012 is a very interesting date in the Maya civilization... the great change! But what is the change?

John Major Jenkins walks us through his research!photo by Donya Fronk during interview with Elizabeth Upton

John Major Jenkins is an independent researcher who has devoted himself to reconstructing ancient Mayan cosmology and philosophy. Since 1986, John has traveled to Mexico and Central America seven times. In 1990 he helped build a school in San Pedro, near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. In 1994 he delivered relief supplies to a Quiché Maya community in the Western highlands of Guatemala. Since beginning his odyssey of research and discovery with the Maya, John has authored dozens of articles and many books, including:

  • Journey to the Mayan Underworld (Four Ahau Press, Boulder, CO: 1989)
  • Mirror in the Sky (Four Ahau Press, 1991)
  • Tzolkin: Visionary Perspectives and Calendar Studies (Borderland Sciences Research Foundation, Garberville, CA: 1992/1994)
  • Mayan Sacred Science (Four Ahau Press, Boulder, CO: 1994)
  • Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 (Bear & Company, Santa Fe, NM: 1998)

His 2002 book, Galactic Alignment: The Transformation of Consciousness According to Mayan, Egyptian, and Vedic Traditions was released with Inner Traditions International (Rochester, VT) in August 2002.

His new book, co-authored with Marty Matz, is called Pyramid of Fire and was released in November 2004.

He also facilitated the translation of The Key to the Kalevala by Pekka Ervast, editing and writing the introduction for it. This classic text on Finnish mythology was published with Blue Dolphin Publishers in 1999. In 1995 John was appointed literary executor for Eino Friberg, Finnish-American poet and translator of The Kalevala, the national epic of the Finnish people.

As a visiting scholar, Jenkins has taught classes at The Institute of Maya Studies in Miami, The Maya Calendar Congress in Mexico, The Esalen Institute, Naropa University and many other venues both nationally and abroad. He has been interviewed on numerous radio and television shows, including the Art Bell show, the Laura Lee show, Dr. Patricia Hill's The Changing Paradigm, and has appeared in documentaries on Native American prophecy and the millennium such as The Fifth Gate (Milton Media, Denmark) and Earth Under Fire (Conscious Wave Video).

In October of 2000, the Discovery Channel featured John's work on two episodes of the "Places of Mystery" series, which continue to be broadcast regularly on the Travel Channel. John will appear in a documentary on the Maya that will be broadcast on the History Channel in March 2006. John's careful scholarship and cutting-edge insights into why the Maya chose 2012 to end a great World Age cycle have been endorsed by the most progressive thinkers of our day.
